Unleash your inner hero! To celebrate National Superhero Day (yes, we were surprised it was an official day as well!),…
Gymboree Play & Music Wimbledon is run by Aaron and his fantastic team. They’re based in the upper mall down the corridor between H&M and The Boardroom Climbing Centre. They cover a large area, up to Wandsworth Common and Wimbledon Park, down to Morden, west to Raynes Park and Wimbledon Common, and east to Tooting Bec, and everywhere in between! They offer sensory classes for babies, music and art classes, as well as our famous Play & Learn classes for little ones who are on the move, up to 5 years old. They also offer a range of fabulously fun birthday parties with zero clean up for you! Get in touch with them today via the ‘enquire now‘ button to find out more!
Gymboree Play & Music operates on a membership basis, where members are booked in for their chosen developmentally-appropriate, teacher-led class(es) each week. Fees are outlined below:

Originally from Ireland, Aaron moved to London five years ago and began his Gymboree journey in 2018.
With a degree in Drama and a Masters in Musical Theatre, performing is in his nature and he loves to sing and dance for all the little ones in his classes!
When he's not at Gymboree, you can probably find him bingeing the latest Netflix series, at a West End Show or on the basketball court.
Steph grew up in Wimbledon and still lives locally. She started teaching at Gymboree in 2018 when she was looking for another job to support her career as a musical theatre actress. She found that performing and teaching complimented each other very well and has been teaching here ever since.
When Steph isn’t performing or teaching, she loves to swim, read and try new things! She also has a dog called Ollie that she enjoys taking on long walks and adventures.

Our classes take place in our fabulous site in Centre Court Shopping Centre. We utilise our bespoke climbing equipment for our Play & Learn classes, and this is packed away in order to create plenty of space for our award-winning Music and Art classes. Our site has ample space for buggies and private toilets and baby changing facilities.
Our venue is located on the first floor of Centre Court Shopping Centre and all classes take place in our Studio Room, located down the corridor between H&M and The Boardroom Climbing Centre.
Whether you travel by bus, train, tram, car, cycle or foot – getting to us couldn’t be easier. At the heart of Wimbledon town centre, we have direct transport links including tube, train, tram and bus, and we’re close to Wimbledon tennis. For car users there’s an excellent car park that links directly to the shopping centre and is accessible to everyone.
The following buses stop outside Centre Court:

We open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm on Saturdays. Apart from our short closure at Christmas time, we are open all year round!
We have three different kinds of memberships. Our Standard Membership costs £63.50 per month and entitles you to one class per week plus unlimited Open Gym sessions. Our Premium Membership is £83.50 per month and entitles you to two classes per week plus unlimited Open Gym sessions. Our Flexi-Pass Membership has a one-off fee of £100 and entitles you to five classes plus five Open Gym sessions to book as you wish over a three-month period.
We are a membership-based organisation, so you must subscribe to one of our memberships in order to book classes. Unfortunately, we don't offer one-off/ PAYG sessions.
We have a number of Open Gym sessions throughout the week. In these sessions, there is no teacher leading the activities, but you and your little one can play to your heart's content using our specialised props and patented apparatus. There is no obligation to attend these sessions - with our memberships you can attend as many or as few as you like!
We offer a family discount on our monthly memberships. If you have two children, there is a 30% discount for your second child. If you have twins, there is a 50% discount for one child.
If you notify us of an absence in advance of your registered class, then you will receive a make-up class in its place, which you can use to book any age-appropriate session within two months of your absence.

Both of my children (3.5 years and 11 months) go to Gymboree Play & Music and love it. My toddler goes to their drop-off Lego class which she raves about. It's very creative, working not only on Lego skills but also painting, drawing etc. My infant son loves his Gymboree Play & Music Crawlers class - particularly loves crawling all over their props, through the tunnels, etc. Great way to get the infant crawling over obstacles! Gymboree Play & Music is part of our weekly schedule for both kids and we look forward to participating every week. Invaluable!
Gymboree Play & Music was a lovely and positive experience for my son Leo. We started when he was 9 months and he is now 3 years old, I wish we had started sooner.
He loves the songs (which is part of our daily singing at home), the freedom to explore and he was happy there. He looks forward to class every week and once class is over he will tell everyone about Gymbo and what he did.
For me, I liked that it taught him how to get down safely from a height, how to learn to use his body, and touching on different topics every 2 weeks. It gave me confidence in other environments to trust that he has the ability that he learned from Gymboree Play & Music and to trust him.
I’ve been taking both my newborn and toddler to Gymboree Play & Music for a couple of months now and both boys are really loving the classes and open gym sessions. It’s a great way to meet other mums, entertain toddlers at witching hour(!) and get ideas for sensory play with babies. Sophie and Cat are fantastic and have so much energy and loads of different ideas for the classes, plus make sure the activities it’s help children meet their development milestones as well. Highly recommend this if you’re thinking about joining!! Thanks so much Sophie, Cat and the wider team :-)
