Andy Blain2024-01-30My brother and I were visiting the area and popped into Yogiz for a quick bite to eat. We were immediately greeted by the extremely pleasant and knowledgeable Alishba. She expertly guided us in the choices of Somali food and we opted for the shoulder of lamb mandi. Whilst waiting for our main meal we were treated to a bowl of soup which was clear, spicy and tasty. Our main meal, cooked by Noreeni Atasi then arrived, the lamb which was well marinated with a melt in the mouth texture just fell off the bone. This was accompanied by an extremely large rice dish. The meal was rounded off with a very sweet nutty traditional dessert. The whole experience was a pleasure, great food and people. Thank you.
