As part of the class you'll be learning so much more than just a massage routine we'll cover the importance of touch, movement, relaxation, interaction and communication. In the 5 weeks we will cover different massage strokes for the legs, feet, stomach, chest, arms, hands, face and back. Week by week we increase how much of the body you massage until you give your baby a full body massage. We will cover a colic relief routine that could help colic, constipation and wind, some gentle movements based on principles of yoga and a touch relaxation technique to help relax baby ahead of their massage. I'll also share what oil to use and when best to massage your baby. Classes are held once a week and are approx 1 hour long. All classes are baby led and I encourage you to respond to your baby's needs as they arise. This class is suitable from 8 week until crawling. After we've covered the strokes there will be plenty of time to chat with a hot drink - a luxury as a new parent!
