What Kids Yoga with Iona says
Sessions are designed around familiar stories; from classic fairytales to Julia Donaldson. Mixed up with some moving meditation to child-friendly songs, bite-sized mindfulness and more. Iona believes that yoga offers subtle yet powerful tools that can help even small children nurture their inner light, develop emotional resilience, overcome stress, anxiety and other mental health issues, build confidence, develop coordination and motor skills, as well as keep fit and enjoy long term wellness. Her classes are also a lovely opportunity for grown-ups to share something special with their little ones and bond on a far deeper level. Breathing, movement and meditation practices are probably needed more now than ever before, and can be introduced in a really fun way from a young age.
