Every birth is different, as is the uniqueness of every woman and her pregnancy.
This 2.5 hour birthing workshop is ideal for expectant mothers (from 32 weeks) and their birth partner. It is a wonderful opportunity to explore and prepare you both for the various stages of labour and birth.
We will talk about the numerous ways which you can be supported through your journey by using breath, touch and sound, movement, resting positions, relaxation & meditation and ofcourse affirmations and visualisation.
Birth partners (your chosen person to be with you during you labour & birth) have a important role and this workshop unravels all the tools a partner can utilise on the day.
During this insightful and invaluable workshop we cover the following:
The importance of a calm state of mind
Breathing techniques for the various stages of labour
Creating a safe and optimum atmosphere
Biomechanics for an optimal birthing experience
Yoga with your birthing partner for support
Maximising the Pelvic Floor potential and it’s protection too
