Fun and educational classes working alongside the early year’s foundation stage so your child will be learning while having fun. Supporting your child's development, personal social and emotional, communication, physical development, hand eye co-ordination, creative development and many more.

Providing an environment in different sounds, smells, tastes, textures, and interesting things to see will benefit your child. Songs where you can join in the actions, such as hand motions and sing-alongs, is the best way to encourage child's development.

Weekly themes include The seasons, Bonfire night, Chinese New Year, Christmas, Dinosaurs, Easter, Mother's day, Valentines Day, Fairies and Goblins, Emotions and many, many more.

Hi, I’m Alexis and I run Jittabugs which are Music, Movement, Sensory and Pre School Dance classes in the Peterlee and Durham area.
My interest in Jittabugs started when I was looking for a fun group to take my baby girl to, and that’s where I came across Jittabugs. It was perfect, there was music and sensory, all things that were going to help with her development. It was fun and it changed every week too so it kept her interest, and she enjoyed the time with kids her own age too! My little girl is 6 now and lights up when she hears the songs. When she is not at school she sometimes joins me at classes and loves to help out and meet everyone.
I have a passion with bringing music and sensory into children’s lives, I see and believe in the benefits but also into their development.
