✨MINI GIGS

Nov 27th: we're thrilled to welcome Luke Carey to the Mini Gigs stage, on guitar, loop pedal and vocals. He's inspired by the likes of Jamie T, Ed Sheeran, Eminem and Damien Rice, whilst bringing his own unique voice into both songwriting and performance. Luke is an "Unsigned Stars Competition" winner, a title previously held by MOBO and Brit Award-winning Stormzy. Luke loves a singalong, and one or two duets with host Esme is likely too!

✨DESIGNED FOR YOU

Days with a mini one can be long and hard to fill! Our relaxed performances offer something to enjoy in your own right - designed to be as close to a typical gig as possible - yet with your baby or child welcome too. We perform in the cosy theatre room at Pickled Pepper Books, under fairy-light twinkles and beautiful stage lighting.

DETAILS:

✨35/40 mins set which can be solo or group acts - singing and live music such as guitar, piano, saxophone, violin

🚫No baby songs

✨Guest artist showcases as well as Mini Gigs regulars - all pro

✨often themed; or genres can include Pop, Folk, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Country, Singer-Songwriter originals... We love a singalong too but optional of course!

✨bits and bobs provided for play e.g. sensory scarves, books, toys

✨room enclosed with a little gate, handy with mobile babes!

👶 NOTE: Some moving around and hubbub is expected - feel free to stand, sway, feed, come in and out etc. But this space sadly can't accommodate particularly busy movers who want to run around lots, as the venue isn't huge and has a fairly intimate feel. We base this on temperament not age or milestones as every child is different. Bits and bobs are available to help entertain. Feel free to email if unsure!

ACCESS: Seating is floor or benches, with some blankets available for extra comfort. Small staircase to get up to the room, which Esme or a staff member can help you with - any other questions or needs, do email🙏
