PLACE FOR SPACE

Join us each week over at the homely Red Sky Yoga Sale Moor studio on Hampson Street, as we explore a different theme to help us learn fun and simple to use mindfulness-inpsired techniques in the relaxing sensory environment of the studio.

What will the session involve?
Each session follows the same Mindful Preteens structure to allow our young people to arm themselves with some simple tools to help them notice their thoughts and emotions as well as to deal with stresses and anxieties they may face. The session includes a creative activity where the preteens will be invited to mindfully create and to take home their creations home to remind them of the tools introduced during the session.

Is mindfulness and relaxation suitable for my preteen?
We welcome the wrigglers, the chatterboxes and the timid tinies - no judgement here! ALL ARE WELCOME! It’s not all about sitting still and being quiet but we also want to show our children that they CAN have moments of stillness and how to NOTICE their emotions by having fun breathing, moving and creating and being in our FLOW!
