Having a baby takes a toll on our mental and physical strength. Our body goes through a lot and is totally different when we come out the other side. Our body has served us well but it can take a lot of getting used to; we may not be able to do the things we once so easily could, it’ll look different and it’ll feel different. And that’s amazing. These classes are all about getting to know our new body, feeling for our limits, challenging it and regrouping our mind and body.
In these classes you can expect to work on strengthen exercises for the pelvic floor, diastesis and core, posture, strengthening back, opening the shoulders and chest. You will use resistance bands, weights, small gym balls etc.
Buggy Storage is provided on site. You might need to fold your buggy if there is not enough space in our storage cupboard and lock it.
Play Mats and Baby Changing Mat provided for your baby.
All fitness levels are welcome.
Postnatal Pilates & Fitness Class- combines sound Pilates mat basics to get you feeling strong from the inside out and additionally incorporates functional strengthening exercises which are done standing with the support of resistance bands and the ballet barre or baby!
