Pregnancy yoga can play a key role in enhancing the experience of this precious time.
Yoga helps you enjoy pregnancy with minimal discomfort from all the associated aches and pains and with regular practice it ultimately has a positive effect, preparing you both physically and mentally for birth.
Its also an opportunity to meet other mothers with similar due dates.
As mothers we need to keep our bodies strong and our minds calm in preparation for childbirth and caring for our little ones once they are here.
In pregnancy yoga we learn various tools and techniques to draw from to help us achieve our best possible birthing experience.
Each week we have a different focus including -
The pelvic floor, optimal feotal positioning, hip stability and strengthening, creating a sense of space within the body for you and baby, releasing sounds, breathing techniques, pain management techniques, seed mantras, releasing neck and shoulder tension, SI Joint pain and lower pain pain and yoga nidra.
This class is practiced in an open, yet covered garden ensuring social distancing.
Please bring your own mat to place on ours, bolsters and blankets will also be provided and sanitised afterwards.
Wear comfortable and warm layers.
