Pregnancy Yoga you can practice in the comfort of your own home with a local supportive group of women.
Toni passionately believes that pregnancy yoga can play a key role in enhancing the experience of this precious time.
Yoga helps you enjoy pregnancy with minimal discomfort from all the associated aches and pains, and its an opportunity to meet other mothers with due dates at a similar time.
In pregnancy yoga we learn various sequences and techniques to draw from to help us achieve our best possible birthing experience covering optimal foetal positioning, breath & pain management techniques, birthing positions and movements to aid focus and relaxation.
Toni is a mother and senior yoga teacher who has been teaching since 2012, specialising in pregnancy, postnatal and vinyasa yoga.
Toni is a Tutor on the 200hr Yogarise Teacher Training - 2019, 2020, 2021.

Yoga helps you enjoy your pregnancy with minimal discomfort from all the associated aches and pains, and you'll meet other local mothers with babies who are due at a similar time.
As mothers we need to keep our bodies strong and our minds calm in preparation for childbirth and caring for our little ones once they are here.
In pregnancy yoga we learn various sequences and techniques to draw from to help us achieve our best possible birthing experience.
Classes are suitable for everyone, you needn't have practiced yoga before to enjoy the benefits of these classes.
You will learn specific yoga breathing techniques beneficial in pregnancy and in labour, postures and positions to help build strength and stamina for when you will need it most, and ways to unwind and release.
*All pregnancy yoga students must fill out the online health information questionnaire prior to joining the class. This will he sent before your first class.
This information will be kept in strict confidence. It will help me to adjust your yoga practice according to your needs.
*You can begin pregnancy yoga at any stage in your pregnancy. You may choose to wait until around 15 weeks (particularly those new to yoga), when pregnancy is considered to be established and the worst of tiredness/sickness has passed. There is no evidence to suggest that yoga or exercise causes women to miscarry*.
*In pregnancy, the way you feel will change from day to day, week to week. Please listen to your body and let me know if there are any changes that can help me modify your yoga practice to suit you.
*Always practice at your own pace, and be sure to come to a resting position at any time during the class should you feel you need to.
Props that are useful -
A yoga mat
A few pillows
A few blankets
A block or book
Please wear any comfortable clothing.
You will need to download the Zoom app and register for a basic account.
Please join the class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're ready to start the class and to avoid any technical problems.
Turn your volume up and your camera on, you can coose to turn your camera off when we begin to practice if you prefer.
