TUMBLE TOTS

This is an inclusive class, with a calmer approach for Tumble Tots and Gymbobs with additional needs.

Our SEN sessions are extremely important to us. We strongly believe that all children should have the opportunity to participate in our physical play programme, in an environment that enables them to build “skills for life”. Balancing, climbing and mini gymnastics are still at the core of this class, helping them to build gross motor skills.

The 45 minute sessions are tailored to children who may feel overwhelmed by the noisy and busy nature of our other classes. The team are supportive and caring, whilst understanding the needs of each individual child. We can tailor the class where possible to ensure each child has a positive experience.

We aim to make sure everyone feels valued and included. The class is a place of empathy, understanding and love; where participants can explore and develop their potential whatever their abilities.

Ways in which the class differs to other classes are:
• Limited capacity with higher staff to child ratio
• Includes use of sensory elements
• No loud noises/minimal music
• Parents stay with children throughout
• Free play environment to allow children to explore at their own pace
