What Super Explorers says

-We start with 'carpet time' where we say hello and are introduced to the theme of the week. -We explore the brilliant activities in our classroom style setting (all of which are aimed at developing ALL of the key areas of Early Years Development) -We end with some fun singing and dancing. All the while, we are learning through play. As a qualified teacher with many years experience, I can offer exciting activities that will stimulate and excite your little ones while they learn through play. They will explore and learn in a fun and safe environment, with a range of tools and wonderful resources. I can offer guidance for the activities, but the children can take the lead. Coming to Super Explorers classes will help to develop the following key areas: Personal, social and emotional development Communication and language Physical development Literacy Mathematics Understanding the world Expressive arts and design There will be construction, arts and crafts, sensory activities (e.g play-dough, foam, water beads), a mark making area, maths (shapes, space & measure), a reading area and lots more. This is not a stay and play group, this is a specially created early years class offering a whole range of valuable learning opportunities for your little ones. The variety of activities means that the classes will suit all interests, ages (16 months +) and abilities. This will be a fun, interactive and educational class where your child will grow in confidence and independence, as well as develop important social skills. Super Explorers will help to develop their love of learning with a wonderful start to their life in education within a classroom style setting. Come to Super Explorers for an hour of fun and learning through play!

About

I absolutely love being amongst little children and watching them learn and grow. Since starting my groups in 2020 I realised how much I love watching the children and their adults experience my classes together. I notice how it encourages them to talk and bond over the craft that they are completing, or the sensory activity that they are experiencing. When I worked in a formal educational setting, the adult wouldn't stay with the child, but now I love watching, and being a part of this special experience that they have together.
