What Ukeboxbaby says

I run ukulele music classes for 1-4s, and under 1s. In my 1-4s ukulele music classes, I tell children’s stories, such as The Hungry Caterpillar, with live ukulele songs, games, bubbles, parachutes, handmade props & more. In my under 1s music classes, I sing soft children's songs with simple actions and props to support babies' development, and the parent and baby bond, My educational music classes are all in line with EYFS and give children the chance to explore music, numbers, language, colours, key concepts and dexterity. In my 1-4s class there is an option for parents or toddlers to learn an easy song on the ukulele at key points within the story. Learning an instrument has been proven to foster maths and language ability, and elevate mood. Ukuleles are available to borrow. I serve free tea, there is free parking at my venue and siblings are just £1. (Baby siblings are welcome to watch at my 1-4s classes).

REVIEWS “My 2 year old LOVES Ukeboxbaby and really looks forward to it. There is plenty of interaction and lots of instruments provided to keep the little ones engaged. We practice at home and it is really encouraging his love of music. I highly recommend coming along!” (Kate & Lennox)

“This is Robert’s absolute favorite music class! He truly enjoys playing the instruments and listening to music with other children, the sessions are interactive and loads of fun. We are looking forward to attending the next term.” (Psofia & Robert.)

Playing an instrument has been proven to boost brain function, elevate mood and even boost immunity.
In addition to preschooler classes, I run afterschool ukulele clubs in primary schools and perform my own kids musicals at festivals and in theatres. I perform at Camp Bestival, a leading music festival, Komedia theatre and more.

About

I am a Grade 8 singer, went to a theatre school, and have with the likes of Saint Saviour, Groove Armada’s lead singer, and Shlomo the famous beatboxer and festivals and clubs in London including Lovebox Festival.

I also perform children's musicals with my electric ukulele, at local events and festivals. I performed on one of the main stages at Camp Bestival, England’s biggest family festival the last three years and am performing there again this summer. I have performed at Brighton Fringe last year, and am again this year in The Spiegeltent. I have performed at a host of other local festivals. I also run family events at Fat Boy Slim's Big Beach Cafe.

I firmly believe that music is the strongest form of magic. It has been proven time and time again to support child development, improve language skills, foster maths ability and elevate mood.
