Ukulele music classes for babies, toddlers and parents + uke lesson
What Ukeboxbaby says
Learn the ukulele to boost mental ability and elevate mood.
On Fridays we tell interactive children’s stories with live ukulele songs, games, dancing and handmade props. Our stories are in line with EYFS and give children the chance to explore numbers, colours, concepts and ideas .There is an option for parents of babies, or toddlers who want to have a go, to learn an easy song on the ukulele at key points within the story. Learning an instrument has been proven to foster maths and language ability, and elevate mood.
Ukuleles are available to borrow, or you are welcome to bring your own.
On Fridays class we serve free tea and coffee and there is an optional free stay and play that you can attend after the class. We also offer 10% discount on lunch at a nearby cafe. More info is given in the class.
On Wednesdays we give parents the chance to learn the ukulele properly, while their children play around them. A new beginners song is taught in each class.
Ukuleles are free to borrow in all our classes.
Playing an instrument has been proven to boost brain function, elevate mood and even boost immunity. Learn Ukeboxbaby and release your happy!
