Bright Babies classes.
Bright Babies, baby and toddler classes in Romsey and Southampton have been designed to delight your little one whilst boosting their natural development and providing a space for bonding, fun, and play!
Each week is like a sandwich with the beginning and ending following a similar structure, as babies and toddlers love the familiarity of routine.
Classes start with a welcome from Dotty Dog and a gentle warm-up song.
We wind down at the end of class with bubbles, relaxing lights and of course a wave goodbye from Dotty Dog. (until next week!)
The sandwich ‘filling’ changes each week as our babies delight in learning and experiencing new things.
Bright babies classes have been split into three development levels so that the babies can get the maximum out of each class.
Giggles
6 weeks until sitting.
Giggles is the perfect nurturing space for our newest babies. Gentle activities like massage and yoga support their learning through your loving touch.
Tummy time fun is so beneficial for the development of babies bodies and brains, so each week will bring a new way to keep tummy time exciting
Meeting other new parents and building a support network is at the heart of Bright Babies, so each week there is time to talk and get to know other class members.
When you sign up for Giggles you will receive a bottle of massage oil and a baby massage booklet included in the price.
Each class will include:

Wiggles
Sitting - walking
Once your baby starts to sit up, the world becomes very exciting. This class has been designed to encourage your baby’s natural curiosity about the world around them.
Our wiggles are starting to get the hang of their motor skills, and we want to encourage this with instruments, actions, play props, and games.
Over a 6 week period, our wiggles get to experience tactile sensory play in the form of messy play, treasure baskets, and simple crafts - each week is a bit different!
Our growing babies are desperate to communicate with us. We make the most out of their improving motor skills by introducing baby signing (BSL). Signing with your baby helps to ease frustrations, build relationships and boost their brain development.
Each class will include:

Sensory exploration- treasure baskets, messy play, and crafts
Musical instruments
Simple action songs and play props

Movers
Walkers – 3 years
Now that our little ones have found their feet they won’t want to sit still for long! That is why Movers has been designed with moving bodies in mind.
Our little Movers join in for circle time and independently explore using their gross and fine motor skills.
Over 6 weeks, our Movers experience tactile sensory play in the form of messy play, treasure baskets, and simple crafts - each week is a bit different!
