DANCE BABY DANCE

Our 10am Thursday dance class is designed to be taken while carrying your baby or wearing them in a sling or carrier. It’s for parents/carers of babies who want a class involving dance and movement for everyone. We play music you want to dance to - no nursery rhymes here - and no previous dance experience is necessary. Each week we’ll learn short routines which can be danced to a variety of music of many different styles and genres, providing gentle exercise for adults and an enjoyable music and movement experience for babies.

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in such as trainers, plimsolls or jazz shoes and ensure your sling is fitted comfortably for both you and baby. Check out the TICKS recommendations for newborns if appropriate:

Dance Baby Dance classes at St John The Evangelist church, Sylvan Road, SE19 2RX are in the church hall - step free access to the church hall is via the last door on your right as you walk up the side of the main church building running parallel to Sylvan Road.
