BECKENHAM BABY TALK
Supporting parents in the first year of parenthood
What Beckenham Baby Talk says
Having a baby is hard! Baby Talk exists to provide a safe place for parents of babies under one to meet each other, eat some cake, drink some coffee and process the highs and lows of parenting in the early days. Each week we have coffee, tea and cake; bubbles and a short song time for the babies; lots of time for chatting with one another and a short focused discussion on a topic relevant to being a mum (such as self-care, post-partum bodies, returning to work and coping with a changing identity). We hope this group will enable you to talk, make friends and feel a bit less isolated. (You are welcome to bring older siblings with you if that's helpful 🙂) This group is run by Grace Church Beckenham.
I'm Mary, mum to three small people and passionate about helping fellow mums navigate the crazy ups and downs of mothering babies. Having been through seasons of depression and anxiety myself over the last few years, I believe some time to talk, some strong coffee and good cake can do a bit to help.
