BEYOND THE FOOTPATHS

Forest School sessions for babies & toddlers, outdoor activities for little ones

What Beyond the Footpaths says

Let's get our little ones outside! There are so many benefits to spending time outdoors, immersed in nature. Beyond the Footpaths hopes to provide you with the perfect opportunity to make the most of our beautiful area.

Forest Babies
Spring and Summer woodland activity sessions in the Pine Woods, Harrogate. These sessions are aimed at babies who are sitting unaided but not yet walking: roughly between 5-10 months. There is an emphasis on sensory motor activities and the sessions provide a healthy dose of woodland wellbeing for parents too!

Tree Tots
These woodland activity sessions also take place in the Pine Woods, Harrogate in the Spring and Summer months. They are aimed at little ones who are walking, between 12-36 months. A chance for parents to learn some woodland skills too!

Mini Adventures
Outdoor adventure sessions for 5s and under who are walking confidently. Mini adventures take place somewhere different each week in the villages and countryside around Boston Spa. Baby siblings are welcome free of charge although I would recommend using a baby carrier.

If you don't see the outdoor adventure that you're looking for then get in touch and I'd love to try and create it!

About

I'm Molly, founder of Beyond The Footpaths. Like many people, I passionately believe that we all benefit from getting outdoors and immersing ourselves in nature.

Based in Yorkshire, I am a fully qualified Hill and Moorland and Forest School Leader, with a backgound in education.

When I had my daughter I was keen to get outside with her but so many classes were for older children or based inside...so I made my own class and Forest Babies was born!
