Welcome to the Butterbean Hypnobirthing Course held at Barleylands in Essex. We are on a mission to transform your birth into an experience filled with confidence, positivity and excitement!

No matter how you envision your birth, whether it’s at home, in a hospital, or anywhere in between, we’ve got you covered! Say goodbye to those nagging fears and anxiety and say hello to the joy and anticipation that should accompany the arrival of your precious little one.

Our hypnobirthing course is led by multi-award-winning antenatal teacher, Lucy Woodbridge. Our course will empower you with the tools and knowledge you need to prepare for birth.

COURSE DATES:

July, August or September due dates: 6th&7th July 12.30pm-4.30pm (in person), 11th & 18th July 7.30pm-9.30pm (on Zoom) and 25th July (at the pub!)

September, October or November due dates: 7th & 8th September 12.30pm-4.30pm (in person), 12th & 19th September 7.30pm-9.30pm (on Zoom) and - 26th September (at the pub!)

November, December or January due dates: 2nd & 3rd November 12.30pm-4.30pm (in person), 7th & 14th November 7.30pm-9.30pm (on Zoom) and 21st November (at the pub!)

Hello, I'm Lucy! I'm an antenatal teacher, the creator behind Butterbean and proud mum to Ivy and Frankie. My journey began when I named my baby 'butterbean' during my first scan. Despite preparing with an online hypnobirthing course, Ivy's birth was filled with unexpected interventions, leaving me wishing I'd known I had choices every step of the way. This shared experience of unexpected challenges and limited postnatal support with many women inspired Butterbean.

Butterbean is my response to the void in genuine maternal guidance. It's crafted from my personal challenges, ensuring you have the support, information, and companionship that I once longed for. Every resource here is my commitment to you, ensuring your journey to motherhood is as informed and empowering as possible.

Lucy is registered and trained with FEDANT (The Federation of Antenatal Educators).
