Mum & Baby Cloud Yoga - Gently combining physical and emotional connection whilst promoting wellbeing for Mum & Baby. You and your baby must have had your 6-8week post-natal check up. Babies from 6-8weeks to before crawling. My aim is to have small, nurturing classes where you can take time out for yourself and your baby. Classes are beneficial for both mum and baby and support healing, wellbeing and baby’s development. Baby yoga brings emotional and physical rewards for babies of all ages, and at each stage of development. As well as helping your baby to bond with you, it will soothe and stimulate your baby and help to improve your baby’s balance, coordination, motor skills, respiratory and digestive systems. Baby yoga will help you to know each other better. This “attunement” will give your baby the reassuring feeling of being emotionally connected to you and your baby will feel understood. Yoga will uplift you, restore you, it’s ideal for strengthening your pelvic floor after giving birth. You may feel tightness in your upper back and neck and pain in your lower back and pelvis. Gentle yoga practise will enable you to build up your strength and flexibility. Postnatal yoga uses movement, breathing and relaxation to allow you to reconnect with your body after pregnancy and birth. It allows mums to restore their sense of wellbeing and stimulates baby’s natural development.
