CROYDON SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAMME

Preparing children for school

What Croydon School Readiness Programme says

Here at the School Readiness Programme, we prepare children for formal schooling and support them through their Reception Year. We also support children who may still be developing between 16 months and 72 months, however are a little bit older. We understand that all children develop at their own pace. We focus on: - Communication and Language Development - Personal, Social and Emotional Development - Pencil Control - Writing - Reading - Phonics - Early Maths (Addition, Subtraction, Number Bonds, 2, 5 and 10 Times Tables, Telling the time, Shapes etc.) - Colour Recognition - AND SO MUCH MORE We work alongside you and your child to support the area of development that needs the most support. We are also registered on Class Dojo, which is a reward system used by schools. Each time a child achieves something, such as "good listening," completed homework, "stayed on task" or "good work" they receive a point. Once they receive 20 points, they get a prize. We can also upload pictures and videos of the children doing their work for their parents to view and comment. This makes learning fun for children.
