Daphne & Friends is a friendly and welcoming community for bereaved families in London and online.

We create safe spaces for those who have lost a pregnancy, baby or child through our groups and special events.

About

My name is Poppy, founder and director of Daphne & Friends. I am a proud mum of three children, five year old Felix, Carys who is three, and Daphne, who was stillborn in 2021.

I started Daphne & Friends in 2023 after a post on a local facebook group looking for other bereaved families with babies and toddlers who wanted to get together to play. The response was overwhelming, and was the start of our first stay-and-play. From there we have grown from a few toys in a church hall to a flourishing and diverse community of bereaved families, supporters and advocates.
