What Fagan School of Irish Dancing says

The Fagan School of Irish Dancing was founded in 1977 by Veronica Fagan-Milne. T.C.R.G. Veronica started dancing at the age of 6 with Elsie Munroe, she competed for many years travelling around the country making many friends along the way, some with whom she still stays in contact with. After retiring from her solo career at the age of 18 she began to concentrate on team dancing, also performing with the Tyneside Irish Dance Troupe and Comhaltas Ceoltori Eireann, participating in festivals and Eisteddfods in both this country and France. She also had the honour of performing with the late and great John Doonan, Flute player extraordinaire. At the age of 24 she qualified as an Irish dance teacher and has enjoyed a lot of success over the years with both solo and team dancing. On many occasions the school has achieved the highest points accumulated over a single competition. Irish dancing has been her love and passion for nearly 60 years and enjoys passing on her knowledge of this wonderful art form to others.
