Furzedown Early Learning Playgroup caters for parents/carers and their little possums. Our sessions run on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning in the spacious hall of St James’ church. Our programs are planned to improve the personal, social and emotional development of our children by promoting independence within learning and we provide an environment that actively encourages this. Parents/carers are an integral part of this process.
About
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines to plan activities that will enable children to learn through play. The EYFS framework explains what and how the children will be learning to support their healthy development whilst at nursery/preschool. They will be learning skills, acquiring knowledge and demonstrating their understanding through seven key areas of learning and development.
