What Groovy Bumblebees Early Years music class says

Groovy Bumblebees is an early years music class that is run by a specialist music therapist/professional musician.
Groovy Bumblebees offer experiences of joy and peace, growth in confidence and self expression, foster musicality, support in physical, emotional, social and neurological development through music.
We have limited spaces available as we aim to keep classes small in size, in order to focus music around each child in the group
This is an inclusive class, led by the specialist music therapist who is available for a consultation if your child has additional needs.

About

Hi! I'm Kamila, and I am a music therapist who runs Groovy Bumblebees Music.I created this class so children and their grown ups would access live, creative music making that would support their well-being, development and growth.
Although Groovy Bumblebees Music is run by the therapist, it is not a therapy. Still it keeps its holistic approach and would remain therapeutically informed.
I started my musical journey as a trained pianist, practicing my piano since an early childhood. In 2011 qualifying a music therapist marked a new beginning in my musical life. Since then I have been working with people of all ages. My youngest clients are newly born infants, and my eldest are centenarians.
I believe that music is a magnificent force that plays crucial role in helping us maintain and improve our wellbeing, assisting our learning and growing. Research showed that playing music, developing musicality and having access to a high quality music from early on help children doing well at school.
Playing music with others is a privilege for which I am ever so grateful. I use music to reach people, help them learn news skills, make them feel better, and make new friends. In my class I play different instruments, such as piano, guitar, ukulele or gongs. Children and their grownups also have an opportunity to explore wide range of instruments.
