Stay and Play Playgroup

What Henry Allen Nursery School says

Join us at our FREE weekly playgroup every Thursday 10:00 -11.15am. Everyone is welcome to stay and play in our beautiful setting! It is a great opportunity to play in our large outside space and meet some of the Henry Allen staff and other parents and carers in the local community. We finish the session with music, a chance to sing songs and rhymes, and play along with the instruments!
The playgroup gives your child the chance to play alongside other children, developing essential play and social skills. Also, if your child is starting at our school soon, it will help them to familiarise themselves with the nursery or give you the chance to sign up for a place at Henry Allen.

Henry Allen Nursery is an Ofsted-rated Outstanding Maintained Nursery School for 2, 3 and 4-year-olds situated in Amersham. We are a unique establishment in that we are a school, run by teachers and highly trained support staff. We offer flexible 15 and 30-hour sessions to eligible parents of 2,3,and 4-year-olds and also provide breakfast, lunch, and after-school clubs. We pride ourselves on our inclusivity and the support we give all children to maximise their learning and development, welcoming children who may have additional needs.
