About
I am the founder and managing director of Little Hummingbirds, aiming to bring creative, fun-filled and exciting high-quality music classes to nurseries and children's centres in and around West-London and also offer weekly parent-child classes for you and your newborns, babies and toddlers.
I'm a fully trained early years music and instrumental teacher with many years of experience teaching children of all ages in Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and the UK.
I've completed my undergraduate degree in Austria and wrote my bachelor's thesis about "Music Therapy with Infants". It's incredibly fascinating how a child is born with an innate musicality - their musical development has already started in the womb. Stimulating activities like humming, singing, being played to, rocking and bouncing can all positively affect a child's musical and overall development.
I moved to London in 2017 to undergo an artistic Master's degree at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Live music is such an important part of quality music tuition and seeing that glow in a small child's eyes when they are being played to on different instruments is proof enough that there should be more of it in our lessons!
I absolutely love teaching babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and am commited to providing high-quality, versatile, creative and fun classes which are child-centered, imaginative and full of great resources and instruments, to make every class a little musical adventure.
