Hello!

I’m Lateesha and I’m very excited to be bringing LullaBaby classes to Caterham, Coulsdon and Warlingham.

I grew up in Caterham and I’m now raising my own family here. Fun fact – I met my husband when we started reception together and I proudly announced I would marry him one day! A few (or 20) years later and I did :D We have 2 beautiful girls who are 6 and 2 and they are the cheekiest of characters. They make me laugh every day and I just love being their Mama!

I come from a childcare background, working in nurseries originally and then in Special Educational Needs where I spent 13 years in a local SLD school and that is where my passion for early development and sensory learning began.

I attended local baby groups with my eldest in 2017 and there I learnt the importance of socialising with other mums and just how great it was for my own mental health, and I made friendships that have lasted and now our girls attend school together. How special is that!

I missed out on baby classes with my youngest, due to lockdown. When classes started back up, we jumped at the chance. But the main problem we found was that a lot of baby classes are aimed at…babies! Which is why I love that LullaBaby classes are from birth until 2 years. Our classes are also linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage. We will be learning some Baby Yoga and Baby Massage techniques together in Step 1 and having lots of fun with our themed weekly sensory sessions in our Step 2 and 3 classes.

I can’t wait to welcome you to LullaBaby Caterham, Coulsdon and Warlingham! Where we don’t mind if you’re sleep deprived or you haven’t had time to brush your teeth or haven’t managed to wash your hair in the last week. We have all been there! If all you manage on that day is to make it out the door…. Well…. You’re smashing it already!
