MAMA.CODES GREENWICH & WOOLWICH

Starting young children on their coding journey with local classes in London

What MAMA.codes says

Coding is the new literacy. It is on the school curriculum in the UK from age 5 because it is important that every child is digitally literate in order to thrive and succeed in an increasingly digital world. Our fun filled classes teach children as young as three to code through our unique teaching methods. We use songs, rhymes and story telling using free kids' app ScratchJr. Children flourish and learn to code with confidence.

About

MAMA.codes was set up by three London mothers with digital backgrounds on a mission to promote digital literacy in young children! They started wanting to find genuinely creative ways for children to use their screen-time and did not want their children to miss out on the vital 21st-century skill of coding.

Coding is the new literacy. It is on the National Curriculum in the UK for all children ages five and above. Every child should be given the opportunity to thrive and succeed in our increasingly digital world.

This is why we work to empower every child to kickstart their coding journey and give them all the confidence and ability to code.
