Our music and movement, Singing and melodic communication sessions are unique in context, scope and quality. They are highly social and integrate cultural elements, delivered by specialist music teachers that use learning aids such as ribbons, balls, rings, scarfs including age-appropriate instruments, to create rich musical experiences that are both engaging and memorable. We work with parents, caregivers and schools. We also incorporate the sign language of MAKATON into our group of Neurodiverse children due to its highly social component. All staff is holds a DBS enhanced certificate and chaperone license.

About

I'm Maria the founder of MMM. I have been working in Education for over 30 years. My first role was as an Educational Learning Teacher working with the local municipal library to bring books to life with pre school children through song, acting, music and movement. After formally studying music and teaching for Early Years and Primary with 7 years of experience in classrooms in private international schools, including training and certification in Piano playing, Singing, early years education, I can offer unique experiences to under 6 year olds. We greet each other with singing, age appropriate musical instruments and learn basic music elements. We also incorporate MAKATON for children with delayed speech and use learning aids such as ribbons, bean bags, scarfs, shakers and bells to enact popular nursery rhymes. Children build confidence and resilience whilst getting ready for formal education setting. I am a qualified teacher, with a grade 5 piano through ABRSM, a degree in Singing with Trinity College of London ATCL and can play recorder, Ukelele and the Ocarina. I hold a DBS certificate and chaperone license with Southend On Sea Council.
