MINI EXPLORERS CUMBRIA

Mini Explorers offers an engaging play experience for babies and toddlers, drawing inspiration from the educational philosophies of Reggio Emilia and Montessori. Our emphasis is on utilising open-ended materials to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and encourage discovery. We run sessions outdoors in a beautiful woodland on a farm during the Spring and Summer and indoor sessions in a village hall during the Winter.

Each session there will be:
- Art explorations
- Loose part play and open ended resources ( boxes, tubes, real objects)
- Messy and sensory play
- Natural resources (pine cones, sticks,shells etc)
- Light, dark and shadow explorations (indoors)
- Circle time with stories and singing
- Opportunities to make new friends and learn about open ended play and how it is beneficial to children’s development.
