Hello! My name is Rhian, and I’m the proud founder of Mini Signers. I started this wonderful endeavour because I love signing with my two children, and I wanted to spread the joy of signing to others as well.
I’m a qualified nurse, and throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of using both British Sign Language (BSL) and Makaton on and off and making a positive impact.
Now, as a mum of two, signing has become a part of our everyday lives. It’s an incredible tool that helps me connect with both my children even though their ages are very different, but I find it particularly invaluable when communicating with my youngest, who is still pre-verbal. It’s truly amazing to witness the power of sign language in fostering understanding and strengthening bonds.
