What Moon Forest Babies says

A lovely sensory class for babies, combined with mindful meditation practice for you to relax… and have fun with your baby at the same time! With lots of sensory props, instruments, and sound (definitely no silent meditations in this class!), touch, cuddles, and all of our senses. Alongside more traditional mindful practice too… body scans, mindfulness of breathing, and Metta (loving/kindness) meditation, all tailored so the babies are at the very centre of the practice, to make a special hour of bonding time with your baby. We’re a friendly and informal class, but hope you’ll benefit enormously from the amazing positives mindful meditation can bring to the time you and your baby spend together. Whether you’re a complete beginner, or experienced practitioner who doesn’t get as much practice as they would like now the baby has come along.

The 4-week course will guide you through practicing mindfulness while being fully engaged with your baby, using special meditations and techniques. Mindfulness helps you to be fully present with your baby to enjoy precious bonding time such as when playing together, without being distant and distracted by negative thoughts or endless to do lists. It allows you to focus on the good, improves bonding, and brings peace and happiness to the time you share with your baby. Moon Forest Babies provides a wonderful setting to learn mindful techniques while your baby enjoys the special bonding and play time together.
