What Musical Miniatures says

Musical Miniatures (for 0–5 year olds) was founded in July 2017 and has since grown two extra arms (yes, really!) — expanding into Musical Giants (for 4–7 year olds, launched in Sept 2021) and Leytonstone Voices, our feel-good adult community choir (launched in May 2022).

All classes are run by musician, qualified teacher and early years specialist Jenny Milway, and as a small independent business, everything is designed with heart, expertise and a splash of sparkle.

💫 What we’re about:
In Musical Miniatures and Musical Giants, we aim to nurture children into confident, creative learners — all through the joy and power of music. Our sessions are grounded in educational and developmental research and packed with songs, movement, instruments and plenty of laughter.

🎵 Leytonstone Voices is our grown-up singing space — no experience needed, just a love of music and a willingness to give it a go. Come as you are, make a joyful sound, and feel good doing it!

About

I'm a local Leytonstone mum with a First Class Music Degree from Leeds University and a PGCE in Secondary Music from the Institute of Education. I’ve taught music across every age and stage — from lively toddlers to university-level students — and my experience includes classroom teaching, instrumental lessons, choirs, bands, school productions, carol services and even staff training.

Musical Miniatures is a completely independent, one-woman-run business, built from the ground up with love, experience and a lot of instruments in my hallway! Every class, every playlist, every puppet and prop is personally planned and delivered by me — no franchises, no scripts, just a whole lot of musical heart.

I’m deeply rooted in the Leytonstone community and hugely passionate about creating spaces where families can connect, sing, and grow together. One of the best parts of running Musical Miniatures is getting to know the children and their grown-ups over time — it’s a real privilege to share in so many little (and big!) moments of joy.

Whether you're a first-time parent or a seasoned pro, I hope you’ll feel right at home in our sessions — where music supports development, boosts confidence, and brings people together.
