MUSICAL MONKEYS CROYDON

Musical Monkeys has been running for 3 years. I started this session, to give parents/ carers an affordable music session in my local area.

£5 for one child.

£1 for each additional child.

The idea actually started during Lockdown. To help people keep a routine, every Tuesday morning , I would do " Song time Live" on Facebook. Even people without children would watch the session and thank me after for bringing some normality into a world that was turned upside down .

Musical Monkeys is a relaxed, friendly environment, to meet new people and for your children to interact with others.

Your little one will sleep well after this fun and lively session!

Musical Monkeys starts with

" What's in the Box " . A magical box, full of interesting objects, where the children can join in with the actions. The adults get excited too😅.

Every song is accompanied with a prop ( for grown ups too), bubbles, scarves, drums, sticks, puppets, cuddly toys, parachute or even a huge colourful band.

The children quickly learn the routine and actions and get excited for the next song. We sing the same songs each week, but I throw in a couple of extras, if there is time.

Music and songs encourage language, confidence, imagination, listening skills, sharing, numeracy, physical development and lots more.

At the end of the session we sing a " Goodbye" song, so the children know it is the end.

Each child receives a monkey sticker before they go home.
