Amy is a qualified, experienced pregnancy and postnatal exercise specialist who is passionate about providing fun, safe and effective training sessions for women who are either pregnant, have just had their baby or who had their babies a while ago and want to start being more active again. Each pregnancy, delivery and recovery is unique so she designs each session with your individual needs in mind. The classes are an opportunity for some ‘me’ time - to focus on moving your body, checking in with yourself mentally and meeting other local mums, all of which are so important. Workouts are suitable for wherever you are in your postnatal journey as long as you have been signed off to exercise by the doctor.
About
Having started off my journey in the fitness industry as a gymnastics coach and then a personal trainer. I now use my experience to help women be active during their pregnancy and after giving birth.
I love working with women during this phase of their lives. Small changes can improve a women's pregnancy so much, and even if she is already very active - fitness, bodies and goals change so much at this time. It's such a pleasure to help women work through these changes. More recently I have added baby massage to my repertoire, I love it because it gives parents a special designated time to really zone in on their baby and strengthen the bond without outside distractions.
