About

Pippa Wright is a singer and music educator with professional performance experience, education, training, and life experience that have shaped her into the unique music leader she is today. After completing a Music Degree and subsequent Postgraduate Performance studies at the Royal Academy of Music, Pippa spent 8 years as a professional Musical Theatre performer in National Tours and the West End.
During these years, Pippa also taught music through educational Outreach with Excathedra Choir and continued to teach Primary Aged children and coach teenage singers and adults privately.
After deciding to focus solely on teaching Music from 2012 onwards, Pippa took a full-time role with the Arc Schools Network and studied a Masters in Early Childhood Music Education at CREC.
After 10 more years of teaching in Primary Schools and Nurseries across Birmingham and London, delivering an EYFS music curriculum online for Oak National Academy and continuing to sing with semi-professional choirs ExCathedra and The Epiphoni Cconsort, Pippa moved back to her home town of Malvern and took a break from all teaching in 2022 to focus on the needs at home of her newly adopted son with her husband.
Pippa’s journey to parenthood, the attachment and therapeutic training she has received on preparing to adopt and the lessons she has learned from all the parents she has worked with over the years has brought her to a place now where she is passionate about sharing the joy of connected, playful music-making alongside infants with other local parents.
