45 minutes of beautiful uplifting and calming songs including relaxation £8.25 when signing up to a half term at a time or £9.25 pay-as-you-go, siblings free under 6mths and 50% discount over 6mths Our Song is for adults to attend with their babies and preschoolers. A supportive and nurturing environment to sing, socialise and relax together in a stunning location. Facilitated by Shirley Stump, Doula, Sound Healer and Lifemusic Facilitator. Suitable for all abilities. This is a very inclusive group and people can participate as much or as little as they like. Getting out of the house with little ones can be hard work, but getting out to meet new people in a supportive and relaxing environment brings many benefits. “There’s a wealth of anthropological and psychological research on the benefits of singing for individual mental health, mother-infant interactions and infant development.” Daisy Fancourt, professor of psychobiology and epidemiology at UCL Being a Doula I can also support and signpost you to any info you need regarding your baby and yourself. I am Doula, Sound Healer and Lifemusic Facilitator as well as an Early Years Music Facilitator. I have been running early years music classes since 2005 and very passionate about all of work. My background is playing music from an early age, working in the music industry and then training with many great music facilitators and Goldsmiths College developing my musical and facilitator skills using music to connect people and bring joy. My learning journey never stopped and I continue to develop my skills and knowledge with regular training and workshops.
