What Out There Indoors Play Cafe says

Out There Indoors is a Scandinavian-inspired play cafe located in the popular Paintworks development of Brislington, BS4. A love of nature and the seasons is evident in everything we do, but there's much more to Out There than mud kitchens, muddy puddles, and bug hunting! Tree climbing has always been a big part of what we do. There's heaps of research on the benefits of climbing for young children, and for that reason, we have one whole wall and a third of the floor space dedicated to indoor climbing and physical movement, while the remaining space allows for self-directed play and learning using role play, loose parts, authentic and small world resources, sensory items, and beautiful books. In a nutshell, we offer: Natural resources and the Seasons, Role play, Loose parts, Authentic resources, Small world.

About

Out There Indoors is the offspring of Out There Kindergarten, Bristol’s first forest school inspired nature kindergarten which opened in September 2017. The journey which commenced from that point on has greatly shaped the idea for an alternative place space, taking some of the best bits of Out There and putting them indoors.
