Maple Mini Music Makers is a music and fun session which takes place at the Perkisound centre. Singalong with piano led by qualified music teacher Susie, a mix of traditional action songs and makaton sign songs. Play along with quality percussion instruments and learn some simple rhythms using the Kodaly syllables. Use of well equipped interactive sensory room featuring an amazing projector with over 100 settings for fun, games, sensory play and to support communication. The room also has a giant switch bubble tube, a soft working keyboard and a heated waterbed! Stunning enclosed private outdoor play area loads of parking. Coffee and chat, pay as you go.

Susie is a highly experienced qualified music teacher and mother to 2 teenage boys one of who has autism and uses makaton signs to support communication. When my children were little I benefitted hugely from pre school stay and play groups so I am really pleased to be able offer this session at such a stunning location. Perkisound is a charity and an exclusive venue set up by myself and my husband in 2017 and it is particularly suitable for children on the autistic spectrum. Please note that this session is open to all pre school age children and is not an exclusive Sen session.
