Hi, I'm Claire! I am a friendly, enthusiastic teacher who’s passionate about education and making learning fun. I have been a qualified primary school teacher since 2008, teaching in both the UK and Cyprus, and now specialise in Special Educational Needs. I continue to teach two days a week alongside Phonics with Robot Reg due to my passion working within special needs.
I have a little boy, Rory, who I have loved taking to lots of classes and playgroups. After two years we were both looking for something a little different when I discovered Phonics with Robot Reg I knew it was the one! It is such an exciting, unique concept for both parent and child, the class was full of activities to keep him engaged, all of them supporting an area of his development. I knew it was benefical for him, he just thought he was playing and having fun. When Rory was still hissing like a snake, talking about the letter ‘S’ a week later and Robot Reg I looked into getting a franchise of my own to bring classes to our local area.
In my role as a teacher, I know the world of phonics can be intimidating and I love that these classes empower both parents and children whilst making the learning experience engaging and fun.
