MAMA THERAPY

Therapeutic support group- Helping make Mum life a little bit easier

What Mama Therapy says

Do you feel like you have lost who you are since becoming a Mum? Do you often feel angry or resentful of your partner? Do you feel like you need a break but also guilty for taking one? Has birth, feeding or becoming a Mum not been the experience you always imagined it would be? Do you feel judged when you open up to people about things you are struggling with, or not able to open up at all? Are you concerned your emotional wellbeing is starting to impact your children? Do you feel like you are constantly comparing yourself to other Mum and always feeling you’re not good enough? The session's aim is to help you start being the mother, partner and friend you always imagined you would be before exhaustion, resentment and feeling overwhelmed took over. A non-judgmental space to talk honestly about the hardest job in the world being a Mum The group's aim is to provide hope and acceptance and reduce feelings of isolation. Everyone's experiences are equally important, and we all give and receive support. How much you participate can vary depending on what feels right for you at different times. I will be there to guide you through and offer any more specific support and information around themes raised in the group.
