Hi, I'm Karina, I'm a qualified primary school teacher and mummy of 16 month old Theo, and I'm delighted to be sharing Reading Fairy with so many lovely little ones! I have spent many years working with children; including working as a nursery nurse, leading children's school holiday camps, running birthday parties and 10 years teaching in primary schools! My love of books and reading goes back to my own childhood (I have a very large collection of both adult and children's books!) and I am so excited to be bringing the award-winning Wow world group's Reading Fairy to Taunton. My extensive teaching experience and time spent as Head of English has helped me to understand the importance of early reading and the best ways to foster a love of reading...and the engaging, exciting and amazing Reading Fairy will do just that!
