Reading Rangers offer exciting and educational classes for children aged 3-5 and their grown-ups to enjoy together. Each session focuses on a classic story, fairy-tale or nursery rhyme. We cover pirates, giants, mermaids, castles, wizards, outer space - and everything in-between! We bring these brilliant stories to life through sensory stimulation, craft activities, games and singing - all of which support your child's development and encourage a life-long love of reading. Our sessions are creative, playful and immersive. Come with us on a literary adventure of exploration, wonder and fun!
About
Ranger Jo has been a Primary School teacher for almost 20 years. She has taught across all Key Stages and currently teaches in Key Stage 1. Jo sees the impact of early reading on education, and wants to promote a love of books from an early age. If children develop a passion for reading when they are young, they are more likely to become lifelong readers. Ranger Jo has made this her mission! Her favourite book to read with her children is Oi Frog! by Kes Gray.
Ranger Hannah has worked in book publishing for almost 20 years. As an award winning publicist, she has managed several high-profile book campaigns across commercial fiction (crime and romance), travel guides, political non-fiction and celebrity memoirs, working with lots of best-selling authors.
Hannah is passionate about books and wants to inspire the next generation of readers and writers. Her favourite book to read to her children is Stickman by Julia Donaldson.
