Junior Plus (from 3 years)

Our Junior Plus classes are lively, fun and confidence-building sessions designed especially for children over three and their parents. Each week we explore movement, music, games, craft, early phonics and early maths. Through fun activities we focus on all the skills your little one will need to be ready for when they start school.

At this age, children learn best through active play and by sharing experiences with the people they trust most. Our programme is based on developmental science and packed with ideas you can use at home too. You’ll discover how everyday play helps build strong foundations for physical coordination, speech and language, early social skills and emotional confidence.

From action songs and imaginative play to early problem-solving games, each activity is designed to gently stretch their abilities while keeping everything fun and achievable. We also include moments that encourage listening, following simple instructions turn-taking and cooperation – all key skills for when your child starts school.

For parents, our Junior Plus class is a friendly, supportive space to enjoy quality time together and understand more about your child’s development. The class is led by an ex- primary school teacher and head teacher who is happy to explain the “why” behind the activities so you can feel confident, informed and ready to support your little one through their next big step.

By the time your child is ready for school, they will have had plenty of opportunities to practise focusing their attention, following simple instructions, joining in with group activities, have an understanding of early phonics and key early maths skills and expressing themselves through movement and play.
