BABY SOMA

Baby Soma is a movement session for babies up to 12 months and parents/carers that wish to explore how to support their little ones through their development. It is based on the sophisticated approach to Infant Development Movement Education (IDME©) and offers a child/person-centered space where to interact and support through movement and play.

Facilitated by Amaia Mugica:
Amaia Mugica is a Somatic Movement Educator, Movement and theatre director with expertise in physical theatre and movement for actors.
She holds an MA in Movement: directing and teaching from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (RCSSD, UK) and is a Somatic Movement Educator (SME) and Infant Development Movement Educator (IDME) student through the Body-Mind Centering (BMC©) approach by Embody-Move ( UK). She has studied Dance-Movement therapy and works in a variety of performing arts and community-based settings. Amaia has worked internationally in the UK, Australia, Spain, Mexico, Iceland, Germany and the USA.
