Preschool Rebound at Basingstoke Gymnastics Club

Preschool Rebound is an exciting, high-energy class for independent 3–4-year-olds who love to bounce, jump, and explore movement on trampolines and fast track. It’s a brilliant way to build confidence, coordination, and strength through fun, coach-led learning.

🎈 FUN

Each session is filled with smiles and energy! Children get to use our full range of rebound equipment — including trampolines, trampettes, and fast track — as they jump, stretch, and laugh their way through fun routines and games.

🤸 SKILLS

Children learn a mix of basic gymnastics and rebound skills, from jumping shapes and landing positions to safe bouncing and body control. All skills link to our Preschool Rebound Award Scheme, giving each gymnast a sense of achievement as they progress.

🏅 CIRCUITS

Our circuits are designed to keep children moving and learning. Alongside rebound apparatus, we also include elements from our JuniorGym circuits, helping gymnasts practise strength, balance, and coordination in different ways.

🌟 TECHNIQUE

Coaches teach the key gymnastics shapes and safe landing techniques on both floor and apparatus. These movements are then built into our rebound circuits so children can practise their new skills while having fun.

Preschool Rebound is part of our British Gymnastics Preschool Programme, led by qualified coaches in a safe, structured environment. It’s the perfect class for children who love to bounce and move — helping them develop confidence, control, and a lifelong love for gymnastics!

Children should wear comfortable sports clothing (leggings/shorts and a t-shirt). Long hair must be tied back, and jewellery removed for safety. Socks are required for all rebound equipment.

Preschool Rebound is an independent class — parents do not stay in the room. Our friendly coaches will help your child settle, follow instructions, and enjoy every jump in a safe, supportive environment.

All gymnasts must hold a current British Gymnastics (BG) membership, which provides insurance and access to our national award schemes.

We have a viewing area, baby-changing facilities, and a café for drinks and snacks before or after class.

If it’s your first visit, please allow a few minutes to complete a short form at reception before the session begins.
