BEE READY WITH MRS SUMMERBEE

Bee Ready with Mrs Summerbee is a one off, fun and supportive 6-week term, designed for you and your child (aged 3–4) as they get ready to start Reception in September.

We are currently running FREE sessions at the Beacon Children and Family Centre in Kingsway, Gloucester from Friday 7th November at 10 - 11:30 am— but spaces are limited, so get in touch to book your place!

Each weekly session offers a welcoming, practical learning space, led by a passionate, qualified teacher.

🌼 Each session includes:

• Our class mascot Benji Bee
• A mix of structured and free-play activities
• Your child’s own personalised peg and draw
• Role play and imaginative exploration
• Group time with stories, songs, short discussions, activities and games

These sessions gently model the language, routines, and structure of school life, helping children feel comfortable and excited about their next step.

All activities are aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and focus on the Prime Areas of Learning:

These areas form the foundation for all future learning — supporting children to feel secure, express themselves, and explore the world with confidence.
