Aimed at Breastfeeding mums. Suitable from birth.
This nourishing course provides a safe, supportive space for new mums embarking on their breastfeeding journey. There is very little support out there for breastfeeding mums. This course will provide you with invaluable support and community - two key elements needed to help you reach your breastfeeding goals.
Research has shown that mindfulness techniques lead to a more positive breastfeeding journey. At its heart this course will be a calming space for you and your baby to nurture a loving bond. We'll end each class with guided relaxation.
We'll also cover plenty of topics to help make the transition into motherhood a little easier.
Topics include support with breastfeeding positions and attachment, setting breastfeeding goals and working towards them, Tummy Time guidance and activities to practice at home, normal newborn sleep behaviours, tips for pumping breastmilk. I will also bring some elements from my other courses such as baby reflexology, gentle yoga stretches for you and calming breathwork.
There will be quality time to connect and share with other breastfeeding mums. Drinks and biscuits are provided.
This course is for you if you would like to feel confident breastfeeding your baby, enjoy a positive feeding journey and nurture a loving bond with your newborn.
I have completed training with The Mindful Breastfeeding School and am a trained antenatal breastfeeding teacher. I can support you with position and attachment, what to expect, how to pump and store breastmilk, troubleshooting and signposting to expert support where appropriate.
