This activity is usually led by Lucy Madison, who is also the founder of 'Bring Your Baby Guided London Walks'. Aside from 'Bring Your Baby', Lucy writes the blog 'Horrid Hackney' and has just co-authored 'Women from Hackney's History', a book about significant Hackney women. She also gives public and online talks about Hackney's history. Lucy is joined in 'Bring Your Baby Pub Quiz' by her other half, Anthony. He is the brains behind the questions, and also writes quiz questions for ITV. Lucy and Anthony are parents to 3-year-old Evan, whose favourite animal is (currently) a cow.

*IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT BUGGIES*: 'Bring Your Baby Pub Quiz' will take place in The Club Room, which some of you may already be familiar with as the round theatre room. We understand this may be frustrating, but there is no space in this room for buggies, so please bring a sling or car seat as an alternative for sleeping babies. If for any reason you must bring a pram, please note it will have to be kept outside The Club Room in the corridor (unless wheelchair access is needed) or in an upstairs room.
From the creator of ‘Bring Your Baby Guided London Walks’, ‘Bring Your Baby Pub Quizzes’ are fun, brain-stimulating daytime parent socials, which take place all over London. In GREAT pubs.
Quizzes take a slower pace than traditional ones. We are parents to 3 year old Evan, and understand juggling a ‘baby brain’ with baby distractions! We take two breaks to feed, change and chat, and questions are always repeated.
Settle in with the picture round from 12pm, with a further five quiz rounds (including general knowledge, music, connection and themed) starting at 12.30pm until 2.30pm. Don’t panic if you’re a bit late - we repeat questions.
We’re taking over the stunning Club Room at The Bedford, a family-friendly pub in the heart of Balham.
Baby change and a limited number of high chairs are provided. We also bring our own highly-popular portable baby change so that you can change baby without having to leave the room.
A lunch menu including vegan and gluten-free options is available.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places include items such as Prosecco, wine, Hotel Chocolat boxes and beauty boxes. The prizes are for you, not the babies!
Complimentary sweet treats for each table (sealed in packaging).
